General Assembly Priorities
In November 2012, the OTA Officers and Board of Directors adopted Legislative Priorities for the 130th General Assembly. The Legislative Priorities consist of issues that are of major importance to all 1,308 townships and will significantly impact the efficiency of township government.
As entities of statute, it is important for members of the General Assembly to thoroughly understand the dynamic issues that confront townships. Ohio legislators are provided with the OTA Legislative Priorities and encouraged to reference them when drafting legislation.
