Pending Legislation
During the course of a two-year General Assembly, hundreds of bills may be introduced on a multitude of topics. The OTA monitors the introduction of legislation and places all bills that have an impact on townships, directly or indirectly, on our Legislative Status Sheet. Below are recently introduced bills relevant to township government:
HB 162 RETIREMENT SYSTEM OFFENSES (Dovilla, M., Anielski, M.) To add extortion and perjury and certain federal offenses to the offenses committed by a public retirement system member while serving in a position of honor, trust, or profit that may result in forfeiture of retirement system benefits or the termination of retirement system disability benefits.
