Newsletter
The Ohio Township Association publishes a monthly newsletter, Grassroots Clippings, for township fiscal officers. The fiscal officer is then responsible for copying and distributing the newsletter to trustees and other township employees. The newsletter includes announcements from the OTA, including conference and seminar updates and membership deadlines, and educational opportunities through state affiliated organizations, such as the Ohio Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP), Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (OBWC). Additionally, the township compensation charts are published in the December issue each year. Compensation for township officials remains at 2008 levels for 2013.
