The OTA has available for purchase a variety of materials to help educate students and residents about the townships in which they reside.  These include a brochure which outlines the history and functions of townships, with a corresponding DVD.  Also available is a brochure detailing the results of a 2012 study on Ohio townships, and why they are the most efficient and effective form of local government in the state.  Last, House Bill 652, enacted in 1998, designated Feb. 1 as Township Day.  Township Day buttons are available for purchase.

The OTA, in cooperation with the Center for Public Management & Regional Affairs (CPMRA) at Miami University, publishes a Township Sourcebook Series.  The sourcebooks are a guide to an elected official’s position, and incorporates the Ohio Revised Code and sample policies.  Click here to order yours today!
