To make changes to the laws governing the transfer and disposal of solid waste and construction and demolition debris, including increasing certain fees.
The OTA is an interested party in this bill.
Status: On May 30, 2023, The OTA submitted written interested party testimony to the Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee with a request for an increase of the community host fee from $0.25/ton to $0.50/ton. The bill was passed by the Senate with a vote of 30-0 on June 21, 2023. The bill is awaiting committee assignment in the House.
