The OTA is committed to providing resources and training opportunities that cover topics of general importance and broad interest to Ohio townships. Beginning in May of 2021, the OTA will be hosting bimonthly workshops to further educate township officials and employees on pertinent subjects.

      This session will review ORC 9.03 as well as 9.03(D). We will discuss the relationship of the ethics laws to campaigns and how it relates to newsletters and websites, and wrap up more specifically with a look at the newer ORC 503.70 (commercial advertising on township website).

      The Township Stimulus Program is a one-time program providing funding directly to townships for transportation infrastructure projects. Awarded funds may be used for culvert, roadway and sidewalk projects maintained by the township and within township limits.
