Ohio House of Representatives

The Ohio House of Representatives is comprised of 99 members.  Since 1967, legislative districts have been determined on the basis of population.  Every 10 years, following the federal census, the total population of the state is divided by 99, to arrive at the approximate population for each district.  In the 126th General Assembly, this figure was approximately 110,000 residents per House district.  To find the contact information for your state representative, visit the Ohio House of Representatives’ website.
