OTA Winter Conference & Trade Show
The Ohio Township Association's annual Winter Conference & Trade Show brings township officials and employees from across Ohio together in Columbus for education, networking, and professional development. Featuring educational workshops, a trade show with more than 150 vendors, and a variety of networking and entertainment events, the Conference provides valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, build connections, and strengthen township government.

Conference information is released each fall. Registration, housing, and other details will be shared through the OTA website, the November/December issue of Ohio Township News, and other OTA communications.
Educational Workshops
The Winter Conference offers workshops covering a wide range of township responsibilities, including trustee duties, fiscal operations, roads, zoning, and safety services. OTA also strives to provide educational opportunities specifically designed for newly elected officials.

Trade Show
With more than 150 participating vendors, the OTA Trade Show connects township officials and employees with businesses and organizations that serve local government. Exhibitors represent a variety of industries, including truck and tractor dealers, printing services, government agencies, playground equipment providers, and more.

Continuing Education
OTA works with the Ohio Treasurer of State's office to certify eligible classes for Certified Public Investment Management (CPIM) training. OTA also coordinates with the Ohio Auditor of State's office to certify training that meets Fiscal Integrity Act (FIA) requirements.
OTA Leadership Academy
The Winter Conference offers classes that help participants meet the requirements of the Ohio Township Association Leadership Academy. This program is designed for individuals seeking to strengthen their leadership and decision-making skills.
Participants must register for and attend the General Workshop, complete six of ten electives, and participate in a federal component. All requirements must be completed within three years. Graduates are recognized during the Conference's Thursday morning General Session.

The learning doesn't end when the Conference concludes! Educational workshops are recorded and made available to registered attendees as part of their Conference registration.
Recordings from the 2022 through 2026 OTA Winter Conferences are currently available in the OTA Resource Center. Workshop handouts are included below the corresponding video when provided.
Accreditation reminder: Classes eligible for professional training credit must be reported within the deadlines established by the applicable accrediting organizations. Please review the individual recording pages for accreditation expiration information.
