SURVEY: Understanding Township HR Needs
We are exploring possible ways to assist townships (and fiscal officers!) with HR issues and we would like to hear from you!
The Ohio Township Association routinely fields calls regarding human resources (HR) issues including the forms required of new hires, the paying of overtime and comp time, and benefits management.
Many townships do not have an HR office (or staff) and it is the township fiscal officer that is responsible for paying wages, managing benefits, advertising for employees, ensuring all forms are filled out when a person leaves employment and keeping up to date with any laws that may affect the township and its employees.
