Senate Bill 147: Revise Solid Waste and Construction and Demolition Debris Laws
To make changes to the laws governing the transfer and disposal of solid waste and construction and demolition debris and to provide for new procedures governing a county's withdrawal from a joint solid waste management district.
Status
On June 18, 2025, the Senate concurred on the amendments made by the House, by a vote of 32-0. This bill was signed by the Governor on July 1, 2025, and took effect on September 29, 2025.
