This bill was passed by the Senate on November 19, 2025, by a vote of 25-8. It now moves to the House, where it has been referred to the House Natural Resources Committee and had its second hearing on March 18, 2026. The OTA provided written testimony in the Senate on November 4, 2025 and in the House on March 18, 2026.
