Service Department/Equipment Operator
Blendon Township, Franklin County

Type: Full-Time
Salary/Pay Rate: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Reporting directly to the Service Director, this role is responsible for maintaining and improving local road infrastructure and maintaining the Blendon Township cemetery.

Key Responsibilities (may not include all job duties performed):

• Performs general duties such as shoveling, digging, spreading blacktop, mowing grass etc.
• Snow clearing during winter months.
• Maintain and manage the cemetery property.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of all maintenance-related activities.
• Day-to-day maintenance on building within the Blendon complex
• Anything else the Service Director deems necessary.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ohio Commercial Class B Driver’s License
• Experience in road and facility management is preferred.
• Ability to acquire and maintain certification for weed control and mosquito control through the Ohio Department of Agriculture.

Pay Range:

• $18.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience
