Governor DeWine Announces $5.7 Million for Local Law Enforcement

On August 5, 2022, Governor Mike DeWine announced that $5.7 million is being awarded to certain local and state law enforcement agencies in Ohio. The purpose of this grant funding is to help prevent and solve cases of violent crime, and it is part of the Ohio Violent Crime Reduction Grant Program.

Of the 16 agencies awarded, three are located in townships! Congratulations to Madison Township Police Department (Franklin Co.), Perkins Township Police Department (Erie Co.), and Perry Township Police Department (Franklin Co.).
