Ohio Township Association Launches Ohio Township Connection

The Ohio Township Association (OTA) was founded in 1928 to advocate for the promotion and preservation of township government in our state. One of the direct benefits of townships coming together in this way has been establishing a web for trustees, fiscal officers, and township employees to network with each other.

Since our founding, the OTA has offered its annual winter conference, regional trainings at county township association meetings, and in-person trainings at the OTA office – all places where members can network with each other. The OTA is excited to announce a new platform for networking: Ohio Township Connection. Connection is a place where officials and employees can share resources, ask questions, and talk with fellow OTA members across the state.

Connection is an included member benefit for every Active and Affiliate member of the OTA. Members have been placed into groups relating to their position in their township, making it easy to connect with similar members in other townships.

Active and Affiliate members can log in with their OTA account at connect.ohiotownships.org. Once logged in, you are able to view your assigned group(s), read and create posts, reply to others, and opt-in to receive email digests summarizing recent activity on Connection. Email preferences can be adjusted in the Notifications settings under My Profile.

The OTA is excited to offer this platform as a space for members to collaborate, share ideas, and connect to solve problems.
