Colerain Township Builds Community Through Summer Events

Colerain Township brought residents together throughout the summer with events that provide fun opportunities for neighbors to connect with one another and the people who serve their community.

During the annual National Night Out, Colerain Township hosted an event where residents enjoyed games, pizza, raffles, K9 demonstrations, Touch-a-Truck activities, a SWAT vehicle display, and more. Hosting events for National Night Out gives residents an important opportunity to meet local police officers and first responders outside of emergency situations.

Colerain Township's first responders carried that same spirit into the beginning of the school year with Back 2 School High Fives, where police officers and other first responders greeted elementary students as they returned to school in mid-August.

Finally, the township's summer entertainment series includes free concerts in the park amphitheater.  Colerain Township's summer activities show how local events can do more than entertain. They create opportunities for neighbors, families, township officials, law enforcement, and first responders to build relationships and strengthen the collective sense of community.
