County Township Associations Celebrate Service and New Terms
Ashland County
The Ashland County Township Association met on December 13, 2025, at the Nankin/Orange Township Volunteer Fire Department, where attendees enjoyed a pancake breakfast served by department members.
County officials provided updates, and OTA Executive Director Heidi M. Fought shared information on the proposed constitutional amendment to abolish property taxes.
Ashland County Judges John Good and David Stimpert also administered the oath of office to nearly two dozen recently elected trustees and one fiscal officer as they prepared to begin their new terms.

Champaign County
The Champaign County Township Association met on December 10, 2025, to celebrate the holiday season. Following a delicious meal, CTA President Ed Funderburgh recognized five outgoing township officials whose time in office represents a combined 106 years of public service.
Afterward, 22 recently elected trustees took the oath of office in preparation for beginning their new terms on January 1, 2026.
