In January 2026, the Ohio Township Association (OTA) Service Corp. announced a new, exclusive benefit to all Ohio townships through a partnership with The Shumaker Technology Group (STG). This collaboration is designed to help you create and manage your township’s website.

Improve your resident reach by making your township's information available online. You can choose from four packages with a one-time setup cost designed to help define the scope and features of your new website. 

All websites have an annual hosting and support plan for $375. This covers a cloud server for your website as well as enhanced security and backup. This also includes email and phone support.

Every website created through this program will come with an initial virtual training session where a professional will show you exactly how to use your website and answer any questions you may have. This session will be recorded for your reference. For those townships that may not have the time, desire,
or skills to update and maintain their own website, STG offers low-cost maintenance packages. With an optional maintenance package, all you have to do is call or email their help desk.

There are also several optional premium features designed to complement your website but are not strictly necessary for all townships. These include text message blasts, a searchable cemetery database, assistance creating a professional Facebook page, and more!
