Participate in Kids Voting Ohio’s "Meet Your Leaders" Video Library

Kids Voting Ohio, a non-partisan organization dedicated to voter education and civic engagement for students in grades 3-12, is in the process of updating their "Meet Your Ohio Leaders" video library, which provides students with the opportunity to learn about their elected officials and better understand how Ohio’s government works. The library features short, personal testimonies from leaders like you, helping to inspire the next generation of engaged voters.

You are invited to contribute a brief video to help Ohio’s youth learn more about their government and the role of elected leaders. Specifically, a 3-5 minute videos that include:

  • Introduction – Your name, office, role, and the constituents you represent
  • Your Story – Why you chose to run for office and your motivation for public service
  • Your Responsibilities – An overview of your role and its impact on Ohioans
  • Civic Engagement – The importance of local and state government and the value of civic participation

The current video library can be viewed here.
